Who we are

Fabled Lot operates this coffee store. This policy explains how we collect and use personal information when you browse, create an account, place an order, manage a subscription, contact us, or join our email list. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hi@fabledlot.com.

Information you provide

We collect information you provide for orders and accounts, such as your name, email address, billing and delivery addresses, optional phone number, account credentials, order notes, and correspondence with us. We also keep order and subscription details, including the products, amounts, renewal schedule, payment status, and support history.

If you join our newsletter, we collect your email address, subscription preferences, confirmation status, and records needed to manage your signup and unsubscribe requests. Please do not send full card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information by email or in order notes.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Payment details entered in Stripe’s payment form are sent to Stripe; Fabled Lot does not store your full card number or card security code. We receive information needed to administer your purchase, such as payment references, payment status, card brand and last digits, and a reference to a saved payment method when you choose to save one or authorize recurring payments.

Stripe and any wallet or accelerated-checkout provider you choose also process information for authentication, payment processing, fraud prevention, and their own services. Their practices are described in the Stripe Privacy Policy and the privacy notices of the wallet or service you select. Available payment methods depend on checkout, your device, and provider eligibility.

Google sign-in & address suggestions

If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the basic profile information authorized by you, including your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture where provided. We use it to create or connect your store account and authenticate you. We do not receive your Google password. You can manage the connection in your Google account settings; disconnecting Google does not itself delete your Fabled Lot account or cancel a coffee subscription.

Checkout uses Google Maps Platform / Places for address suggestions. Loading this service sends technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to Google. As you type in the address search field, your address search text and selected country are sent to Google to return suggestions. Choosing a suggestion fills the address fields. You may enter or correct your address manually without selecting a suggestion. We do not request your device’s precise location for this feature.

Google’s handling of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Use of address suggestions is also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

Cookies, device information & email engagement

The store and its service providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep items in your cart, maintain login and checkout sessions, remember relevant choices, and protect against fraud. Our systems and providers may receive IP addresses, browser and device information, page requests, and security or error logs.

The store also uses session-based order attribution to understand how visits lead to orders, such as referral information and campaign tags. Newsletter tools may record email opens and link clicks, together with technical information and subscriber identifiers, to understand engagement and manage communications. Email privacy features can affect the accuracy of those records.

You can manage or delete cookies in your browser and adjust your email application’s remote-image settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect login, the cart, or checkout. You can stop marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary order, subscription, or account messages.

How we use information

We use information to operate the store, process and deliver orders, manage accounts and subscriptions, communicate about purchases, provide support, handle refunds, maintain records, prevent misuse, and improve the customer experience. We send marketing emails when you have signed up; newsletter signup uses a confirmation step.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our agreement with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and store administration where permitted, or rely on consent where required. You may withdraw consent for optional communications without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.

When information is shared

We share information as needed with providers that help operate the store, including hosting and technical support, payment and fraud-prevention services, delivery carriers, and email-delivery services when used. Google receives the information described above when its features are used. We provide information relevant to the service being performed; providers may also have their own legal obligations and privacy practices.

We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect rights or safety, or respond to a lawful request. If the business is reorganized or transferred, relevant records may transfer as part of that process, subject to applicable privacy requirements. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

How long we keep information

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing your account or subscription, completing orders, handling support and disputes, meeting tax and accounting obligations, and maintaining security. The appropriate period depends on the type of record and applicable requirements; we do not apply a single deletion period to every record.

We may need to retain some transaction records after an account is closed or an erasure request is made. We may also keep limited unsubscribe records to honor your marketing preferences. Backup copies and security records may remain until their normal replacement or deletion cycle.

Your choices & privacy requests

You can review account details and orders through My Account. Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your information, or to object to or restrict certain uses.

Email hi@fabledlot.com to make a request or raise a concern. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and understand the request. Some information may be retained where necessary for legal obligations or other permitted reasons. Where applicable, you may also complain to your local privacy regulator. A privacy request does not by itself cancel a paid subscription; cancellation instructions are in our Subscription Policy.

Security & children’s privacy

We use reasonable measures designed to protect personal information, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your account credentials private and contact us if you believe your account has been misused.

The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or obligations change. The date above identifies the latest version. We will provide additional notice where required by law, and significant new uses requiring consent will not rely only on an update to this page.
